Why IS COLDFLEX® Better Than
Ice?
Ice forces cold into
soft-tissues (i.e. muscles, tendons, blood vessels, etc.)
from the outside-in. Most often, the injury, inflammation
and swelling are located deep in the muscle. In order to
reduce the temperature of these deeper tissues, the more
superficial tissue layers become damaged as their temperature
drops well below therapeutic levels.
COLDFLEX is
the answer to this problem because it does not force cold
in, but instead, PULLS HEAT OUT.
COLDFLEX draws the heat out of the soft-tissues through
evaporation. As it removes the heat from the area being
treated, the material may feel warm to the touch as the
heat passes through it. This is normal!. COLDFLEX can reduce
the temperature of both superficial and deep tissues by
35 degrees Fahrenheit, more than enough to aggressively
treat sprains, strains, inflammation, and heat exhaustion.
