COLDFLEX® SELF-COOLING TECHNOLOGY

NON-STERILE COLDFLEX® (BLUE Product) is the only hydrogel technology that provides self-cooling therapy through a unique evaporation process that draws heat from deep muscle tissues and pulls it completely out of, and away from, the body.

COLDFLEX® Compression Wraps are made of stretchable polyurethane foam that is saturated with 96% water based gel that cools at room temperature. (It may also be refrigerated for a deeper cooling action.)

The gel-embedded wraps and blankets evaporates the water/ingredients within to provide moist, penetrating, cooling action and compression. The cooling effect lasts for hours and there is no danger of tissue damage from excessive cold as with the application of ice.

STERILE COLDFLEX® (WHITE Product) is non-absorbent, non-adhesive, non-toxic, non-irritating and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Unlike instant cold packs, COLDFLEX® Sterile Veterinary Dressings conform to the body for unbroken contact and improved cooling. The dressings are ready to use instantly with no need for refrigeration.

The sterile product line addresses open wounds due to direct trauma, cuts, burns or post surgery application for those undergoing cosmetic or traumatic surgeries as it reduces inflammation, increases recovery time and reduces scar tissue development due to the decrease in long-term swelling around the incision.

Many countries utilize the sterile burn dressings as part of their treatment for war casualties as it decreases the effects of burn trauma and slows tissue degeneration is those with gunshot and shrapnel wounds.

HUMAN USE:
The non-sterile product line consists of self-cooling pads and wraps for sprains, strains and edema due to disease such a hemophilia, and is the future for on the spot injury treatment. Be it in the hospital, on the sports field or on the job, every first aid kit should include COLDFLEX®.

EQUINE USE:

One of the latest and greatest applications of COLDFLEX® has been in the equine and veterinary industries. COLDFLEX® has introduced several self-cooling compression wraps for the treatment of foreleg and hock injuries as well as the introduction of both an equine pad and equine blanket - They are the most innovative equine therapy on the market today!

Are You Using the BEST COLD THERAPY for Your Horses? Ice, chemical packs, gel packs, cold-therapy units / pumping machines and alcohol-based cooling products are not the best cold therapy treatment for pain, swelling, hematoma's (bruises) heat exhaustion, hemophilia or other inflammation-related disorders in either humans or animals.

The "colder is better" concept is "old news", (See Japan Study) as it has been shown that ice, cold-therapy pumps, gel and chemical packs can actually increase irritation, swelling and serious, irreversible damage of the affected tissues if they are not applied appropriately. If this occurs, it increases the risk of further exacerbation of the skin and other soft-tissue injuries, often resulting in long-term damage to blood skin, vessels, tendons and both the superficial and deep muscle layers.

As for alcohol based products, they only provide "surface" cooling and do not reduce the temperature of the deeper layers of muscle enough to be therapeutically beneficial. These types of products often cause vasodialation of the surface blood vessels thereby increasing irritation and swelling in the more superficial tissues as well as irritation of abraded or dry skin.

This is why COLDFLEX® has become the ideal cold-therapy solution for inflammation and swelling related injuries in both humans and animals. Experience the self-cooling technology of COLDFLEX® that is convenient, effective, reusable and affordable!
