COLDFLEX® is
the only self-cooling product on the market that
is water based, making it 100% irritation free
and safe, even on abraded skin.
Other "self-cooling" products
are alcohol based . Alcohol can cause
surface blood vessels to dilate and actually increase
the swelling; it also rapidly evaporates cooling
top tissue, but having little effect on deeper muscle
tissue. COLDFLEX® however, removes heat
by evaporation, pulling heat from deep within the
muscle tissues, while the compression helps reduce
and prevent edema. And because COLDFLEX® is water
based, the
wrap requires only cool water to regenerate.
COLDFLEX® Compression
items are reusable , costing you just
pennies per use . COLDFLEX® non-sterile
products are saturated with 96% water based
gel that cools at room temperature. The gel-imbedded
products evaporate water to simultaneously provide
moist, penetrating cooling action and compression.
The cooling effect lasts for hours and there
is no danger of tissue damage from excessive
cold as with the application of ice, ice packs,
chemical packs and other products. |

COLDFLEX® Compress is made from polyurethane
foam that can be frozen and remain completely flexible
and cool for hours without the risk of frostbite.
It
is manufactured into popular sizes designed to fit
common areas of pain and swelling including jaws,
necks, knees, lower back, wrists, ankles and shoulders.
Its special insulator feature prevents exposure,
which can lead to frostbite and directs cold to injured
area only, making it more effective than the leading
cold packs. (COLDFLEX® Compress comes furnished
with stockinet to help hold the compress directly
